ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Indiscriminate use of natural resources inculcates unprecedented deterioration in environmental quality. As a result, the human beings are now encountering several challenges for food, habitat and shelter. The environmental stresses eventually bring about climate changes, affecting the natural function of the biosphere. A set of advanced technologies have been emerged out to combat environmental pollution, but most of them are not sustainable in respect of operation and maintenance. Moreover, such technologies may not be economically viable for wide range of application. In view of that technological effort needs to be made for introducing sustainable endeavor in the abatement of water, air, soil and noise pollution. Moreover, techno-economically viable methods are to be innovated for the emerging contaminants too, which can cause serious threat to the environment. With a view to disseminate on the above issues and to explore the new research initiatives in the field of sustainable technologies, the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Advanced Technologies for Environmental Management (SATEM-2023) was held in 2023.
The present international conference (SATEM–2025) is the Second version of the earlier conference, which will be held in Hybrid (Online and Offline) mode. The conference is designed to create an effective forum for the environmental scientists, engineers, technologist and the industry persons for sharing their research initiatives and real-life experience through oral presentation of the technical papers on relevant focus themes.
